The main purpose of the Center is monitoring and analysis of the main (educational and scientific) and other financial and economic activities of institutions and enterprises subordinate to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation; performing fundamental, exploratory and applied scientific research; educational activities - training of highly qualified personnel, including training of graduate students and applicants for academic degrees, as well as additional education; preparation of analytical, expert and forecast materials on priority areas of development of science, technology and engineering for the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.
