RUDN University delegation visited to the Tuscia University and the National Research Council of Italy (Vitrebo, Italy)

September 27 - October 5, 2017 RUDN University delegation - Associate Professor Dovletyarova Elvira Anvarbekovna, Associate Professor Vasenev Vyacheslav Ivanovich and Senior Researcher Gadzhiagaeva Ramilla, took part in the international certification commission for the defense of master's theses by «double diploma» education program «Management and design of the urban green infrastructure «, implemented jointly by the Tuscia University and the RUDN University.

September 27 - October 5, 2017 RUDN University delegation - Associate Professor Dovletyarova Elvira Anvarbekovna, Associate Professor Vasenev Vyacheslav Ivanovich and Senior Researcher Gadzhiagaeva Ramilla, took part in the international certification commission for the defense of master's theses by «double diploma» education program «Management and design of the urban green infrastructure «, implemented jointly by the Tuscia University and the RUDN University. The defense of master's theses took place at the Department of Agriculture and Forestry Science (DAFNE), the Tuscia University. Students were awarded by the title of masters on the results of the commission's work.

Also during this work trip, were held meetings with the employees of the Tuscia University Department of Agriculture and Forestry Science (DAFNE, ) - Prof. Paolo De Angelis, prof. Prof. Rita Biasi, Prof. Maurizio Petruccioli, Dr. Barbati Anna, Dr. Elena Kuzminsky. The main goal of the meetings was to prepare a joint application for the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (RFBR) - National Research Council of Italy scientific project.

RUDN University representatives made reports on the main activities of the RUDN University Department of Landscape Design and Sustainable Ecosystems and the Center for Mathematical Modeling and Ecosystem Design scientific group in the Tuscia University, the Alpine Center of the Tuscia University and the Research Institute of Forest Ecology and Agroecology. In addition, the delegation took part in the Summer School on Landscape design at the Alpine Center. RUDN University professors presented two lectures on «Urban development and sustainability» and «Urban planning - the New Moscow strategy».

During the business trip, the RUDN University professors made a presentation and told to their partners about the International summer school «Monitoring, modeling and managing urban soils and green infrastructure « in May 2018, organized by RUDN University Department of Landscape Design and Sustainable Ecosystems, in conjunction with the New York City Urban Soils Institute (USI, http://www.usi.nyc/) and the City University of New York (CUNY, , 501-550 QS World University Rankings).
